Abstract

Substrate guided wave (SGW) holograms are recorded and reconstructed using light waves guided through an optical substrate. The recording geometries for producing transmission and reflection SGW holograms are discussed. Practical guidelines are presented for recording and reconstructing interferograms suitable for nondestructive testing.
