Further caulerpenyne-like esters from the green algaCaulerpa prolifera

Summary

From a further investigation of the extractive of the green marine seaweedCaulerpa prolifera, we isolatedIII, which, on the basis of chemical and physico-chemical data, proved to be a dihydroderivative of caulerpenyne with an acetoxy group substituted by fatty acid residues.
