Abstract
Two different types of X-ray diffraction patterns and their interpretations, made from cellulose fibres, have appeared in the literature; one associated with a ‘point diagram,’ presented by R. O. Herzog,1 the other, with a ‘line diffraction pattern,’ by the writer.2
