Summary
This paper compares the A/T curve of the intermediate (BC) branch of the short period PKP waves recorded at Macedonian seismological stations from sources in the SW Pacific Ocean with the A/T curves from theoretical seismograms, calculated under the assumption that the BC branch for distances over about 151° is due to diffraction at the inner core boundary.
