Abstract

The construction and dimensions for ball-bearing slide races suitable for slides with a single degree of freedom as well as for certain mating bearings of spherical contacting elements peculiar to kinematic design, are discussed. A table of dimensions for use of designers, in inches and millimetres, is included.
