Abstract

The modification of a small commercial mirror mount to include miniature stepping motor drive units, is described. It is suitable for use on tunable infrared lasers. The design was motivated by the need for a physically small and controllable arrangement for use within the pressure chamber of a tunable Te CO2 laser operating at pressures up to approximately 1.4 MPa (14 atm).
