Abstract

The absorbed radiation doses delivered to the whole body, kidney and liver by intravenous injections of 72As in humans have been calculated and compared with the doses from 74As. It is shown that for a given limiting dose to the kidney the use of 72As permits lower whole body doses and yields larger coincidence counting rates.
