Abstract

The Cabibbo-allowed two body nonleptonic decays of charmed baryons are studied. The kinematics of the vector-meson final state is worked out and flavor-SU(3) and nonet selection rules for all the amplitudes are given. A simple dynamical model is used to predict asymmetries and branching ratios for the decay modes Λc+Λρ+ and Λc+pK¯*0.
