Nucleation of ice by some porous particles

Zusammenfassung

Unter Verwendung einer kürzlich entwickelten schnellen Methode wird die Keimbildung von Eis auf Kaolin untersucht.

Es wurden grosse Unterschiede der Schwellentemperatur zwischen gealterten, nassen und entgasten Keimen gefunden. Weiterhin kann gezeigt werden, dass die Desorption einiger Gase von temperaturaktivierten Pulvern wie Silicagel und Alox ihre Eiskeimbildungsaktivität stark erhöht.
