Abstract

The results of research on the effect of contour irregularities of a mine working on its stability under dynamic effects, which was conducted by the finite-element method (FEM) and theory of dimensions, are investigated. The dimensions of contour irregularities, which must be represented in the model of the mass being calculated by the FEM, are established.
