Abstract
A procedure is proposed for rapid quality control of concrete placement in the bodies of cast-in-place piles; this procedure includes assessment of body density, continuity, and strength, based on the processing of results of radioisotopic measurements in holes preliminarily installed in the body of the pile. It is demonstrated that the procedure is rather simple to implement and effective, and can be recommended for broad use in construction practice.
