Electromechanical convertion system contains three parts: the electrical system, the convertional device and the mechanical system. In the paper it is analyzed an electromechanical convertion realyzed by an electrical system, described by a first-order nonlinear differential equation, and a mechanical system described by a second-order linear differential equation. The convertional device analized in the paper, consists in the magnetoelectric measuring aparatus, that can perform torsional oscillations. it results from the analysis that if the working point of the electrical system is unstable the mechanical system performs sustained oscillations described by nonlinear differential equation of the type Rayleigh.
