Summary
The polymorphism of adenylate kinase has been investigated in a series of 220 families with 530 children from southwestern Germany. The segregation of the children's phenotypes is in agreement with the formal two-allele-model. —The analysis of linkage for the loci ABO and AK confirms the analysis of Rapley et al.; the distance between the loci seems to be not smaller than 0.1, not greater than 0.2.
