Dr. Irwin Scollar, director of the Laboratory for Field Archaeology, Rheinisches Landesmuseum, Bonn, Federal Republic of Germany, has engaged since 1959 in research on applications of geophysics, photogrammetry and aerial photography to archaeological prospecting.

S. Schoenbaum is distinguished professor of renaissance literature and director of the center for renaissance and baroque studies at the University of Maryland. His books includeInternal Evidence of Elizabeth Dramatic Authorship: An Essay in Literary History and Method (1966) andWilliam Shakespeare: Records and Images (1981).

William C. Carter, an associate professor of French at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, is coauthor ofA Concordance to the Oeuvres Complètes of Arthur Rimbaud.
