Abstract
For the rotifersKeratella cochlearis andKellicottia longispina diel variation in egg ratio was studied throughout the season. In April no variation was found, in July and early September diel variation was significant forK. cochlearis. The diel patterns are discussed in relation to the mean temperature experienced by the populations.
