Zusammenfassung

Es wird versucht, die graphische Integration der barotropen Wirbelgleichung nachFjörtoft im 850 mb-Niveau durchzuführen. An Hand einer markanten Wetterlage werden die vonFjörtoft angegebenen Näherungsformeln untersucht und die Diskussionsergebnisse mitgeteilt.

Summary

An attempt has been made to carry out the graphical integration of the barotropic vorticity equation ofFjörtoft in the 850 mb-level. By the example of a characteristic weather situation the approximative formulae given byFjörtoft are examined and the results of the discussion communicated.
