Abstract

The facility construction as well as scientific achievements during the first 10 years operation of the Meson Science Laboratory, University of Tokyo (UT-MSL) located at KEK are summarized with special emphasis on the advantage of the use of sharply pulsed muon beam for new types of muon science experiments. Also, a short description is given on the nearest future project of ultra-slow μ+ facility.
