Abstract
The present paper deals with the histopathological studies on rust galls ofRuellia prostrata caused byPuccinia ruelliae. The gall formation in present case is the result of both hyperplastic and hypertrophic activities of the infected cells. Formation of independent vascular supplies in galled regions is a feature of general occurrence.
