Summary
-
1.
Copolymers of 2-vinyloxyethanol with methacrylic acid and with methyl methacrylate have been prepared.
-
2.
It has been shown that increase in the proportion of 2-vinyloxyethanol in the reaction mixture results in lower yields of copolymers and in the formation of three-dimensional copolymers.
-
3.
It has been shown that styrene does not form copolymers with 2-vinyloxyethanol in presence of benzoyl peroxide.
