Abstract

An experimental study is made of heat transfer in the stagnation zone formed when a plane semibounded jet interacts with a descending free-convection stream at a vertical wall. An attempt was also made to determine experimentally the boundaries of the stagnation zone as a function of the jet parameters and the natural-convection stream.
