About the editors

José Alberto Benítez Andrades. PhD in Production Engineering and Computing. Assistant professor at the University of León. His research interests include artificial intelligence, knowledge engineering, semantic technologies and social network analysis applied to different fields, especially in Health. He has served on several international conference committees since 2018, is an evaluator of technical and research projects for the ministry, has presented at more than 20 international conferences and has more than 35 articles indexed in JCR journals. 

Ángela Taboada. Associate Professor at the University of León. Her research lines address the interactive effects of anthropogenic disturbances and global change drivers (land use changes, atmospheric pollution, and new fire regimes) on the functioning of ecosystems and the services they provide. Up to date, she has published 39 articles indexed in JCR journals, co-authored more than 70 communications atscientific conferences, and participated in 23 competitive research projects. 

Paula García Llamas. Postdoctoral researcher at the University of León. Her field of interest is landscape ecology, remote sensing, land use/land cover changes, ecosystem services and fire disturbances. Her postdoctoral research line has focused on analyzing fire effects at landscape level. She is currently a coordinator of the European Universities alliance EURECA-PRO at the University of León. 

Laura Estévez-Mauriz. Urban Sound Planner. Architect. PhD in Applied Acoustics. Postdoctoral researcher at University of León. Her research interests include a holistic approach in the development of tools to control, communicate and design the sound environment at a level beyond current solutions, capable of being included in the early stages of the planning process. She has 9 years of research experience resulting in more than 20 publications. She has been part of the committee of the SONORUS EU-Project Final Symposium held in 2016. 

Roberto Baelo. Dr Roberto Baelo. Associate Professor at the University of León. His research activity is linked to integrating Information and Communication Technologies in education and developing intercultural competencies to achieve a quality and equitable education. In addition, he directs the Edutools interuniversity educational research group.
