Abstract

This paper deals with exterior solutions of the field equations of Jordansx-theory. The Bianchi identities are set up and brought into a simple form. All solutions with vanishing conform tensor are determined. There are three classes of solutions characterized by a timelike, spacelike, or lightlike gradient of the gravitational scalarx.
