    Description / Table of Contents: Template Reactions of Bis(acetylacetonato)-dioxo-molybdenum(VI) with Benzoylhydrazine and TriphenylphosphaneBy reaction of MoO2(acac)2 with C6H5—CO—NH—NH2 in the presence of P(C6H5)3 Mo(NNCOC6H5)((CH3)2CNNCOC6H5)(P(C6H5)) was obtained besides MoO(acac-NNHCOC6H5)(NNHCOC6H5).     Notes: Bei der Umsetzung von MoO2(acac)2 mit C6H5—CONH—NH2 in Gegenwart von P(C6H5)3 wurde neben MoO(acac-NNHCOC6H5)(NNHCOC6H5) als weitere Substanz Mo(NNCOC6H5)(NNHCOC6H5)((CH3)2CNNCOC6H5) · (P(C6H5)3) erhalten, welche Benzoylhydrazidoliganden in verschiedenen Bindungsformen aufweist. Die Verbindung wurde durch Röntgenkristallstrukturanalyse charakterisiert.Raumgruppe P 21/c, Z = 4, 2 632 beobachtete unabhängige Reflexe, R = 5,9%, Gitterabmessungen bei 19°C: a = 1 583,6(2) pm, b = 1 485,0(2) pm, c = 1 656,1(2) pm, β = 100,79(1)°C.

    Description / Table of Contents: Complexes of Vanadium and Titanium with Salicylaldehyde benzoylhydrazone and 2-(2′-Hydroxyphenyl)-8-quinolinol. Crystal Structure of μ-Oxo-bis[oxo{2-(2′-hydroxyphenyl)-8-quinolinato(2-)}-vanadium(V)].By reaction of titanium(IV)-isopropoxide and bis(acetylacetonato)-oxovanadium(IV) with salicylaldehyde benzoylhydrazone and 2-(2′hydroxyphenyl)-8-quinolinol, respectively, the metal complexes of the tridentate diacidic ligands were synthesized and characterized mass spectrometrically. The mass spectra of the titanium compounds correspond to the expected bisligand complexes whereas several species are demonstrable in the case of vanadium. Crystals of μ-oxo-bis[oxo{2-(2′-hydroxyphenyl)-8-quinolinolato(2-)}-vanadium(V)] were isolated and characterized by X-ray structural analysis.The complex exhibits C2 symmetry, accordingly the μ2-oxygen atom is situated on the 4 axis. The VOV bridge is angular with the unusually small bond angle of 107.3°.The coordination polyhedron is distorted octahedral. The compound additionally contains one molecule of chloroform per formula unit which is disordered in two positions.Crystallographic data see “Inhaltsübersicht”.
    Notes: Durch Umsetzung von Titan(IV)-isopropoxid und Bis(acetylacetonato)-oxovanadium(IV) mit Salicylaldehyd-benzoylhydrazon bzw. 2-(2′-Hydroxyphenyl)-chinolin-8-ol wurden die Metallkomplexe der dreizähnigen diaciden Liganden dargestellt und massenspektrometrisch charakterisiert. Die Massenspektren der Titanverbindungen entsprechen den erwarteten Bis-Ligand-Komplexen, während beim Vanadium mehrere Spezies nachweisbar sind. Als Reaktionsprodukt wurde μ-Oxo-bis[oxo{2-(2′-hydroxyphenyl)-chinolin-8-olato-(2-)}-vanadium(V)] isoliert und durch Röntgenkristallstrukturanalyse charakterisiert. Es liegt C2-Symmetrie vor, entsprechend befindet sich das μ2-O-Atom auf der 4-Achse. Die VOV-Brücke ist gewinkelt mit dem ungewöhnlich kleinen Bindungswinkel von 107,3°. Das Koordinationspolyeder an den Vanadiumatomen ist verzerrt oktaedrisch. Zusätzlich enthält die Verbindung pro Formeleinheit ein in zwei Positionen fehlgeordnetes Chloroformmolekül.Raumgruppe I 41/a, Z = 8, 1287 beobachtete, unabhängige Reflexe, R = 5,4%. Gitterabmessungen bei 20°C: a = b = 1 456,5(2), c = 2 816,1(4) pm.
