Summary The traffic accidents registered in 1991 in Northrhine-Westphalia involving fatalities, serious and light injuries, extensive material damage, and accompanied by alcohol abuse or flight from the scene of accident were investigated. Various criteria were compared including the age groups involved (Tables 3 and 4); the relationship between age group and traffic accidents with game (Table 5); the relationship between age, accident involvement, and time at which drivers license was received (Table 6); and the correspondence between age, possession of drivers license, and speeding accidents involving game (Tables 7 and 8). The times at which accidents occurred, month (Table 9), weekday (Table 10), and hour (Table 11) are also presented. Then the accidents with game were classified according to groups of streets (Table 12), and amount of traffic (Table 13). Data on accident type and accident causing factors are presented in Tables 14A-14F. (Type of accident, light conditions at the time, characteristics of the place of accident, road conditions and road surface, and weather.)
Abstract:
Résumé Sont pris en considération les accidents de la route dont la déclaration est obligatoire, enregistrés en 1991 en Nord-Rhénanie-Westphalie, qu'il s'agisse d'accidents mortels, d'accidents avec blessés graves, avec blessés légers, avec dégâts matériels importants ou encore résultant d'un état d'ivresse ou accompagnés d'un délit de fuite. Parmi les critères se rapportant à des personnes, les résultats tiennent compte de la répartition des classes d'âge (Tableaux 3 et 4), de la relation liant l'âge du conducteur et la présence du gibier dans des accidents de la route avec destinction des différentes catégories d'accidents (Tableau 5), la corrélation âge, part de responsabilité du conducteur et obtention du permis de conduite (Tableau 6) ainsi que les relations âge du conducteur, possession d'un permis de conduite et implication du gibier lors de collisions ayant pour cause majeure l'excès de vitesse (Tableaux 7 et 8). On fait également état de composantes temporelles: mois de l'année (Tableau 9), jour de la semaine (Tableau 10) et heure du jour (Tableau 11). On traite encore de la répartition des accidents où se trouve impliqué le gibier en fonction des catégories de routes (Tableau 12) et du genre de circulation (Tableau 13). Les Tableaux 14A à 14F illustrent le type d'accident et ses critères déterminants: nature de l'accident, caractéristiques des lieux, conditions de visibilité, type et état de revêtement de la chaussée, conditions atmosphériques.

Zusammenfassung Betrachtet werden die 1991 in Nordrhein-Westfalen registrierten meldepflichtigen Verkehrsunfälle mit Toten, Schwerverletzten, Leichtverletzten, schwerem Sachschaden und mit Alkohol oder Flucht. Bei den personenbezogenen Kriterien werden die Beteiligung der Altersgruppen (Tabellen 3 und 4), die Relation zwischen Lebensalter und Beteiligung an Verkehrsunfällen mit Wild nach Unfallkategorien (Tabelle 5), der Zusammenhang zwischen Lebensalter, Unfallbeteiligung und Erwerb der Fahrerlaubnis (Tabelle 6) und die Beziehungen zwischen Lebensalter, Führerscheinbesitz und Verkehrsunfällen mit Wild mit der Hauptunfallursache „Geschwindigkeit“ (Tabellen 7 und 8) dargestellt. Eingegangen wird auf die zeitlichen Komponenten Monat (Tabelle 9), Wochentag (Tabelle 10) und Stunde (Tabelle 11). Behandelt wird ferner die Aufgliederung der Verkehrsunfälle durch Wild nach Straßengruppen (Tabelle 12) und Verkehrsbeteiligung (Tabelle 13). Aussagen zu Unfallart und unfallbeeinflussenden Kriterien enthalten die Tabellen 14 A bis 14 F (Unfallart, Charakteristika der Unfallstelle, Lichtverhältnisse, Straßenbefestigung, Straßenzustand und Witterung).
