    Description / Table of Contents: Reaction of Nitrogen-Containing Thallium(I) Chelates with Carbon DisulfideThallium(I) chelates of β-ketoenamines (IV) and α-picolyl ketones (VIII) are formed starting with the ligands (II und III) and thallium ethylate. But the synthesis is not generally practicable. As in the case of Tl(acac) carbon disulfide causes an electrophilic substitution at the central carbon atoms of the chelaterings of IV and VIII yielding dithallium compounds of dithiocarbonic acids (X and XI). A comparison of the i.r. spectra (II → IV → X, III → VIII → XI) shows X but not XI to be a metal chelate.
    Notes: Thallium(I)-Chelate von β-Ketoenaminen (IV) und α-Picolylketonen (VIII) entstehen aus den Liganden (II und III) und Thalliumethylat. Die Synthese ist jedoch nicht allgemein durchführbar. Mit Schwefelkohlenstoff erfolgt wie bei den Thallium(I)-1,3-diketonaten eine elektrophile Substitution am zentralen Kohlenstoffatom der Chelatringe von IV bzw. VIII. und es entstehen Dithalliumverbindungen (X bzw. XI) von Dithiocarbonsäuren. Ein Vergleich der IR-Spektren (II → X bzw. III → VIII → XI) zeigt, daß X ein Metallchelat ist, XI dagegen nicht.
