Description: Many uses of modern technologies in the environment, even in the aquatic ecosystem has caused fishes to be affected by its margins including the effects of electromagnetic waves emitted by them, in addition to humans. Therefore, the survey of effects of these waves on fish as the most important inhabitants of aquatic environments is necessary with economic The present study was designed to reduce the dramatic decline in the production of ornamental fish, in particular the Angel fish in Zanjan province, and the research application of the provincial fisheries department to investigate the effects of environmental electromagnetic waves as one of the important alternatives to reduce the proliferation of Angel fish. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of mobile electromagnetic waves (900 MHz) on GSI, HIS, GTH II hormones level and ovarian tissue structure of angel fish, Pterophyllum scalare, female and male brooders during 10 days and in 3 experimental groups including: control (without receiving Waves), treatment 1( 4 times a day and each time for 30 minutes in faced with mobile phones in a standby position) and treatment 2 (4 times a day and each time for 30 minutes in faced with mobile phones in a calling mode). At the end of the test, GTH II was measured by radio immunoassay (RIA) after blood sampling, centrifugation and serum separation. The brooders were then biometrically analyzed and dissected. The ovarian sections were prepared by the classical method of histology with hematoxylin-eosin staining, and microscopically evaluation was done for quantitative and qualitative examination. The GSI, HSI and the mean level of GTH II in treatment group 2 was significantly higher than control group and treatment 1. No brooders of treatment 2 spawned. The number of atresia in treatment 2 was higher than that of other groups. In the males, GSI was lower in treatments 1 and 2 than control group. However, The HSI of control group was less than treatments 1 and 2. The mean GTH II level in male breeders of treatment 1 and 2 was significantly higher than those in control group. Also, abnormality and extensive destruction in the sections of the spermatozoa tubes of testis tissue were present in treatment 1 and 2. The results show that electromagnetic waves of mobile phones affect the reproductive indices of male and female angel fish and reduce the reproductive capacity of both sexes. It is therefore advisable to observe the principle of the proliferation of angel fish (including the selection of healthy breeders, providing a place in the aquarium to hang eggs to it, using water at a maximum of 10 dGH and pH between 6 and 7 and providing a temperature of 29 Up to 30 ° C for spawning induction), it should be avoid to use of electromagnetic devises, especially mobile phones, in the fish breeding farm and they should be establish even as far away as possible from BTS.

Description: One of the unique and important aquatic species of Anzali wetland, Anadonta cygnea, native Anzali wetland and its rivers, and the most important two-body system of this blue system, has declined sharply in recent years due to various reasons. Is this species is considered to be smuggling and has a special sensitivity to environmental changes (biological pollution assessment).Anzali Wetland is a special ecosystem for the cultivation and development of various types of aquatic animals on the southern of the Caspian Sea. On the other hand, the special position of the mollusks in relation to the use of other creatures from them and the industrial industrial applications and the role of water purification necessitates the study of the Anadonta cygnea diet in the Anzali Wetland. Of the 14 stations surveyed, only 9 stations, including the stations entrance of the West Bank , Bahambar , Shijan , Soussar Rogah , Abkenar , Mahruzha , Karkan , Siakishim, and finally Hindakhale, were caught in the Anodont shell. In the above study, the average length and weight of Anadonta cygnea, regardless of their specific situation, were 8.25 ± 1.17 cm and 58.03 ± 27.53 gr, respectively. The most frequencies and distribution in different seasons belong to the entrance stations of West Wetland, Behmbar, Shijan and Sossar Roogah and the highest average age in the spring seasons belonging to the station of Behambar (7 years old), summer related to Mahrooz station (8 years old) Autumn belonged to the Sossar Roogah (7 year old) sonar station and finally to the Shijan Station (8 years old) winter. In general, it can be said that Anadonta cygnea feed from phytoplankton branches of Chlorophyta and Bacillariophyta more than other branches throughout the year. In an experimental study of the Anzali Wetland anodentic sheath, it can be stated from the different stations that most of the phytoplankton species used from the green algae of Scenedesmus, Chlorella and Pandorina were from the branches of the Diatoma Cyclotella, Cembella and Navicula algae. Nutrition from zooplankton was detected in a small amount, from the Ciliophora of Arcella and Amiibia, from Cilliata, and finally from rotifers Brachionus, Asplachna and Rotaria. Suitable substrate type is sandy with some flowers, with the range of silt-clay changes in stations ranging from 80.8 ± 3.8 to 97.64 ± 2.2 percent. In the study of Anadonta cygnea diet, it was determined that the above Anadonta cygnea are fed by filtration (non-selective selection). Therefore, with regard to different ages and abundance in the living environment, in the first place (more than 90%), branches Microscopic phytoplankton from 5 to 20 micron (branches such as Chlorophyta, Bacillariophyta and Cyanophyta), and in the next step (about 10 percent), microscopic zooplankton from 5 to 30 microns (orders such as Ciliopoda, Rhizopoda, Rotatoria and Cladocera, as well as detritus in these dimensions).

Description: Given the advancement of electronic technologies and the impact of its application on the environment, especially aquatic ecosystems, it is necessary to address its various aspects, to be attended its various aspects, particularly about electromagnetic waves and their effects on fish as the most important aquatic animal with economic aspects. The present study was designed to reduce the dramatic decline in the production of ornamental fish, in particular the koi fish in Zanjan province, and the research application of the provincial fisheries department to investigate the effects of environmental electromagnetic waves as one of the important alternatives to reduce the proliferation of koi fish. In the present study, the effect of mobile electromagnetic waves (900 MHz) on gonadosomatic index (GSI) and Hepatosomatic index (HSI), Luteinizing Hormone (LH), and gonadal tissue structure of male and female fish brooders during 10 days and in 3 experimental groups including: control (without receiving waves), treatment 1 and treatment 2 (each one, 4 times a day and each time for 30 minutes in faced with mobile phones in standby position and calling mode, respectively). Biometry of broodstocks, blood sampling from caudal vein, centrifuge and serum isolation, determination of RBC, WBC, Hb, Hct, MCV, MCH, and LH, dissection, GSI and HIS calculation, Gonadal sampling, and classical histology were done at the end of the experiment. The success of reproductive production in males and females was more than the other two treatments. In both sexes, the HSI index of treatment 2 significantly increased. The lowest mean of RBC, Hb and Hct was in broiler breeders, and the highest levels of WBC and neutrophil and the lowest percent of lymphocyte in male broodstocks belonged to treatment 2. Histological results showed that the number of ovaries in treatment 1 and 2 was significantly higher than control. Atresia and defects in the previtellogenic and vitellogenic oocytes and degeneration in nuclei, cytoplasm, vitelline envelope and membrane folliclar cells were found in the ovarian tissue of the treatment groups 1 and 2. In gonad of male broodstocks, the mean of large and small diameters and the mean of area and perimeter of the testis lobules, and the sperm occuping the lumen of the testis lobules in treatments 1 and 2 were less than control. Epithelial thickness and tissue defect of treatment 1 and 2 were higher in the control group. The histopathological signs observed in the testis tissue of the brooders in treatment 1 were: Degeneration and breakdown in the testis lobul epithelium, abnormal lobular structure, lumens filled with inactive or anomalous spermatogonies and pre-existing of nucleos of sperm cells, testis tissue necrosis, thickness and fibrosis of epithelial wall of lobuls, and cellular degeneration In some of the lobules, and in treatment 2: degeneration and destruction of stroma in some lobules, degradation in a significant part of the testicular tissue, the appearance of alveolus in epithelium cells (destruction of the germ cell nucleus), fibrosis, and filamentation in the epithelium of lobules, thickness and breakdown in the epithelium of the lobules, in some places, and extensive vacuolization in the lumen of the lobules was observed. In general, the results showed that mobile-induced electromagnetic waves (frequency: 900 MHz, wavelength: 1-103 mm) produced numerous negative biological effects on female and male of koi fish, especially male brooders. So, with providing the necessary conditions for reproduction in Koi brooders (including: the temperature of water near 20 ° C, the oxygen level is at least 5 mgL-1, Non-ionized ammonia and nitrite levels of less than 0.05 mgL-1 and pH range near 7), it should be avoid to use of electromagnetic devices, especially mobile phones at the hatcheries and in the adjacent of fish tanks at the reproduction time.

Description: The present study was conducted to survey the artificial spawning of European catfish (Silurus glanis L.) by synthetic hormones include Carp pituitary extract (CPE), Ovo fact [D-Ala6 des Gly10] GnRHa Ethyl amid in combination with domperidone diluted in propylene glycol, Human gonadotropin chryonic hormone (HCG) and LHRHa (des-Gly10, [D-Ala6] LH-RH Ethyl amide). In this research work 44 male and 72 female brood stokes that transferred to the Shaheed Dr Ansari hatchery and Sefid rod research station were studied on 2 years and injected with those stimulated maturation. Total length, total weight, gonad weight were measured to the nearest 0.1 cm, 1g and 0.01g respectively. The experiments were conducted using different doses of hormones on 4 treatments. In treatment CPE that brood stocks injected with 2.5, 3, 4 and 5 mg/kg/BW, the most responded (83.33%) was with 5mg/kg/Bw of CPE. The mean fertilization in this treatment was 92.5 4.51 and after that there are groups which were stimulated by 4 mg/kg/BW of CPE .In treatment ovafact that brood fish were injected by 10, 20, 30, 40 μg/kg/BW of this stimulation hormone showed 100 percent of fish ovulated in the group treated with 40 μg/kg/BW of ovofact. The mean fertilization rate was 86.08 6.27 in this group. 33.3 % of brood fish ovulated in the group that injected with 40 μg/kg/BW of LHRHa stimulation, but none of brood stock reached to spawning with injection of 30 μg/kg/BW of LHRHa. The brood stocks were injected by 800, 850, 900, 950 IU/kg/BW of HCG, only 33.3 percent of fish in groups that received 900 & 950 IU/kg/BW of this Stimulation hormone reached to spawning stages. According to our results and statistical analysis between trial treatments in percent of Embryo viability showed significant difference (P〈0.05) between HCG treatment with Ovofact and CPE groups. This results indicates that embryo viability was better in CPE and Ovofact rate to LHRHa and HCG treatments. In the other cases include the working fecundity, fertilization percent, latency period of maturation, latency period of incubation eggs and ratio of weigh stripped egg to body weight did not show any significant difference (P〈0.05) in experimental treatments for stripping the male brood stock of European catfish were injected by 3,4,5 mg/kg/BW of CPE, but not one of male brood fish didn’t reaches to stripping stage , so for eggs fertilization were used of milt from macerated Testes of dead males. So in anther experiment the male brood fish were injected by 5 mg/kg/BW CPE repeatedly at once every 5 days for Period 20 day’s period and milt were collected from of all of the males.

Description: Kutum fish (Rutilus kutum) is an anadromous cyprinid species that spawns in adjusted rivers to the Caspian Sea. Many million fingerlings were artificially produced and annually released in these rivers specifically in Sefidrud River by Iranian Fisheries Organization. In this study were estimated the staying period of Kutum fingerlings in Sefidrud River and its diet and growth. A small piece of the caudal fin was cut as a tagging method. About 50000 and 5200 individuals were marked during July and September 2013, respectively. The marked fish had an average total length 53.2±5.6 mm and body weight 1.11±0.26 g and were released in river around two kilometers of the estuary. The sampling of fishes had been earlier started from Feb. 2012 and continued until Feb. 2013 at five stations. Four stations were along river from three Kilometer of estuary to estuary and one station was in right side of estuary in the sea coast. The results showed that marked samples after releasing time were distributed in all studied area from 3 kilometers of estuary to estuary but they migrate mainly toward Caspian Sea in a short time. However the marked samples were observed in estuary and the sea coast after 6 and 24 hours of their releasing time, respectively, Kutum fingerlings remained in Sefidrud river ecosystem in a longer time, at least until end of our sampling period i.e. 105 days. The coefficient of vacuity index of the natural feeding study was 0.0, 49.0 and 30.6 % for phytoplankton, zooplankton and benthos, respectively. The average of GastroSomatic index, intensity of fullness and condition factor were calculated 6.30±3.25, 174.6±153.2 and 0.92±0.09, respectively. A temporal and spatial variation on main food items were observed in gut content of fish fingerlings from different locations and seasons. Gut contents were generally included 59 genera of phytoplankton, 15 groups of zooplankton and 10 groups of benthos. Nitzschia, Navicula and Synedra were dominated among phytoplankton genera with 45.83, 18.02 and 15.99 %, respectively. Among zooplankton groups; the Rotaria, Moeina and Difflugia were dominated with 22.30, 20.86 and 15.83%, respectively. Chironomidae and Gammaridae were the main food items among fed benthic animals with 83.67 and 11.15%, respectively. Furthermore 48 phytoplankton genera, 32 zooplankton genera and 6 benthic families were identified in ecosystem of Sefidrud river. Bacillariophyta phylum (with 23 genus), Rotatoria (with17 genus) and Chironomidae family were dominated in each mentioned groups, respectively. It is concluded that the Kutum fingerlings stay in Sefidrud River for a long time, although most of them migrate to Caspian Sea during first month after releasing. However dietary indices were normal in studied samples, the condition factor index seems to be low.

Description: Rutilus frisii kutum is one of the important fish of Caspian Sea which has significant economical role in the region .The objective of this project is a comparative study on traditional culture of fishes versus slurry. This survey were conducted on nine pound of 1.7 hec triplicate with their treatment with stocking densities of 1.7 million fish larva at Dr yousefpoor center (Affiliated of Shahid Beheshti culture and propagation) at Siakal village , 32 km far from Rasht city in North of Iran, the first treatment considered as control which practice traditionally (using concentrated food plus grinded kilka fish) .In the second treatment for 13 days the pound supplied only by slurry then followed by concentrated fish food only .The tired treatment started with slurry for 13 days and followed by slurry plus concentrated food. The physical and chemical parameters of water, plankton, biometry of fish, growth indices such as daily weight growth (DWG), daily length growth (DLG) as well as specific ratio (SGR) were monitored weekly. The result indicate that net fish production was 1.7 to 2 times higher in slurry than traditional treatment also the survival rate were 1.7 times higher in slurry treatment . The treatment of slurry follow by addition of concentrated food plus slurry showed higher yield camper to others. Slurry with several active substances is more effective and can promote the growth of zooplanktons which is the food of larval stage of rutilus frisi kutum. In second phase of this project the effect of slurry was surveyed on Chinese carp. This experiment was conducted in triplicate with two treatment (one treatment is control which use cow manure plus chemical fertilizer and second treatment was conducted with slurry) and stocked with 2375 N/hec (Silver carp 60%, Big head 15%, common carp 17% and grass carp 8%) at June. In this survey common carp and grass carp were feed with concentrate food and fresh grasses respectively. Chemical factors were measured once for each two week and density of plankton was determined when it was necessarily. Nutritional content of phosphorous, nitrogen, calcium, potassium and magnesium after anaerobic fermentation as well as protein and lipid content with 1.4and 1.9 times respectively were higher in slurry treatment than control. The results showed that survival rate and yield were higher in slurry than control. The increasing percent of yield were 13.5, 2.6, 18.4 and 85.3 in Silver carp, Big head, common carp and grass carp respectively. The survival rate of grass carp was twice higher in slurry treatment than control. Zooplankton abundant in slurry pounds was more but blue- green algae density was less than control. Protein and lipid analysis reviled no significant difference between control and slurry. In general the result indicate that the slurry with higher nutritional content is more effective on the survival and growth rate of fishes and also is more efficient in proliferation of plankton in particular zooplankton.

Description: Reservoirs are one of the most constructions for control and water supply for different usage that could have various social an economical effects. The Khandaghloo dam reservoir with area of 100 ha located in Mahneshan city of Zanjan province and related to Parichay river watershed. Khandaghloo reservoir is valuable water body that the aim of its establishment was supply of water for agriculture farms. The reservoir has been studied for responsible and sustainable fisheries exploitation proposes. Results showed that the reservoir categorizes as eutroph to super eutroph based on different indices. Also phosphorous is limiting factor of the water body.Totally 42 genera from 6 phyla including green-blue algae cyanophyta, diatoms (Bacillariophyta), green algae, chlorophyta, euglenophyta, pyrrophyta and xanthophyta has been identified and cyanophyta was the dominant group that comprise 74.3 % of phytoplankton population. The zooplankton of the reservoir comprised 4 phyla and 20 genera. 1 genera of the protozoa and rhizopoda, 1 genra of the ciliophora ,15 genera of rotatoria, 2 genera of cladocera has been identified in zooplankton communities. Tubificidae and chironomidae has been identified in all months of the survey. The mean total length of crayfish was 130.5±20.5 mm ( 636) and mean weight was measured as 69.4±34.1 g with maximum and minimum weight of 1.9 and 207.2 g respectively .Total biomass of crayfish in Khandaghloo reservoir estimated as 3.4 tones with a range of 1.1–5.7 tones. But it is recommended not to harvest for at least two year due to high mortality of the populations. The fishes of the reservoir comprised common carp Chinese carp (silver carp, big head and grass carp) (released), Caspian kutum (accidentally released by fishery sector) and some endemic species as Siamahii. The catch of the reservoir fluctuated between 8 to 26 tones during 2000-2010.The fish production of Khandaghloo reservoir ranged from 167 to 324 kg/ha based on different methods that by consideration of 100 ha area of the reservoir, the total production of fish fluctuated between 16.7 to 32.4 tones. The fingerling restocking of Chinese carp in Khandaghloo reservoir with density of 1500 fingerling/ha recommended as 68% of phytoplanktonivorous fish (silver carp) ,12% zooplanktonivorous fish (big head), 6.6% of Crass carp and 10% of benthophagous fish (common carp).

Average weight of brooders were 1361±521, 1376±954, 1009±160 and 1100 ±422 g in 1, 2, 3 and 4 treatments in females and 689±145, 734±197, 547±118 and 794±238 g in males, respectively. In addition, positive response percent to hormone injection were measured 77.8 ±19.24 , 88.9 ± 19.24 , 55.5 ±50.91 and 55.5 ± 19.24 % in 1, 2, 3 and 4 treatments in female and 94.4 ± 9.58, 88.9 ±19.26 , 83.3±28.86 and 88.9 ± 19.26 % in male brooders, respectively, but there was no significant different between all of treatments (p〈0.05). Incubation period from fertilization till hatching step in 7 to 15 ˚C was 5 to 10 days with average of 7±1.5 days. Fertilization content was in 1 to 4 treatments measured 87.1±10, 88.04±7.7, 83.9±5.2 and 72.4±19.7 %, respectively and also the treatments didn’t show any different significantly together (p〈0.05). Average percentage of eyed eggs 66.6±15.9 in treat 1, 61.2±22.3 in treat 2, 58.3±10.7 in treat 3 and 56.1±15.04 in treat 4, without any significant different between of them (p〈0.05). Hatching of eggs mean were measured 27.41±19.8 in treat 1, 39.53±26.9 in treat 2, 95.18±5.6 in treat 3 and 26.78±12.4 in treat 4, and significant different observed between of them too (p〈0.05).In the other hand, mean percent of larvae with active feeding in these treatments were measured 18.77±14.6, 20.1±8.51, 55.6±11.6 and 14.51±7.72 as the treatments had significant different (p〈0.05). Also, the best temperature and dosage injection of ovaprim hormone was 9 to 12.5 ˚C and 20µg/kg BW, respectively. The end of trial, from 103740 larvae introduced to earthen pond obtained 8000 fingerlings with weight of 2.68±0.6 g and length of 6.96±0.51 cm.
