    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract Показано, что падения общей активности и увеличение селективнвности олово-сурьмяного катализатора в реакции парциального окисления изобутилена, наблюдаемые в процессе приработки, происходят всиедствие уменьшения его активности в реакции глубокого окисления, вызванного восстановлением поверхности и блокированием продуктами уплотнения ее центров, ответственных за глубокое окисление.
    Notes: Abstract The decreased total activity and increased selectivity of an Sn−Sb catalyst in isobutylene partial oxidation are due to its decreasing activity in deep oxidation caused by surface reduction and the blocking of its centers responsible for deep oxidation.

    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract На массивном и нанесенных на γ-Al2O3 и фаянсовые носители никельхромитных катализаторах восстановление NOx в смесях NOx−CO (H2)−O2 происходит с высокими скоростями. При объемной скорости 10 тыс·ч−1 полное восстановление оксидов азота водородом наблюдается при 400–450°C, оксидом углерода — при 450–500°C. Последнее позволяет рекомендовать никельхромитный катализатор в качестве основы при создании промышленного катализатора обезвреживания кислородсодержащих газовых выбросов от оксидов азота.
    Notes: Abstract Reduction rates of NOx in HOx+CO(H2)+O2 mixtures over a pure nickel chromite catalyst and samples supported on γ-Al2O3 and faience are high. At a space velocity of 10,000 h−1, the complete reduction of nitrogen oxides by hydrogen and by carbon monoxide is achieved at 400–450°C and 450–500°C, respectively. Hence these catalysts can be recommended as a basis to develop commercial catalysts for NOx removal from oxygen-containing exhaust gases.

Показано, что при низких температурах продуктом восстановления окиси азота окисыо углерода является закнсь азота, а при высоких — закись азота и молекулярный азот. Оценены вклады последовательного (через N2O) и параллельного путей образования молекулярного азота.
    Notes: Abstract The interaction between nitrogen oxides (NO and N2O) and carbon monoxide over Cr2O3 has been studied. It has been shown that at low temperatures N2O is the main product of NO reduction by carbon monoxide, while at higher temperatures the main products are N2O and N2. The contributions of the consecutive (via N2O) and parallel routes of molecular nitrogen formation have been determined.

В отсутствии кислорода сероводород прочно адсорбируется на поверхности оксида железа; в присутствии кислорода адсорбируемый сероводород окисляется: при низких температурах — до элементарной серы, при высоких — до ее диоксида.
    Notes: Abstract Interaction of H2S with iron oxide at 550 and 675 K has been studied by electric conductivity measurements. In the absence of oxygen, H2S is strongly adsorbed on the iron oxide surface, whereas in the presence of exygen the adsorbed hydrogen sulfide is oxidized to sulfur at low temperatures and to sulfur dioxide at high temperatures.

Введение молекулярного кислорода в газовую смесй NO с CO уменьшает конверсию NOx на обоих образцах; на NiO это вызвано конкуренцией между реакциями окисления CO молекулярным водородом и оксидами азота, на Cr2O3-полным подавлением названной реакции.
    Notes: Abstract Cr2O3 is found to be a less active catalyst than NiO in reduction of nitrogen oxides. Introduction of molecular oxygen into the NO−CO mixture decreases the conversion of NOx on both catalysts. On NiO it is due to competition between O2 and nitrogen oxides for CO. On Cr2O3 it is caused by the complete suppression of this reaction.

The mutual dissolution of Sn and Mo oxides leads to a considerable increase in their activities and selectivities in the partial oxidation of propylene to acetone.

    Notes: Conclusions 1. Styrene formation in the oxidational dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene on an aluminum oxide catalyst is directly from the ethylbenzene through an earlier proposed mechanism, rather than from intermediate condensation products through a consecutive mechanism. 2. The condensation products imply function as catalysts for styrene formation, their activity in this reaction being higher than that of the aluminum oxide itself. 3. Carbon dioxide is formed through combustion of the condensation products, rather than from ethylbenzene and styrene.
