Sonochemistry: C3S2 Originated by Ultrasounding CarbondisulfidePure carbondisulfide was treated with ultrasound of a frequency of 20 kHz. Consequently small amounts of C3S2, S6, S7, and S8 were obtained, which could be separated gas-chromatographically and detected by mass spectroscopy. The yields were approximately proportional to the period of influence.

Die Beschallung von Schwefelkohlenstoff mit Ultraschall (20 kHz) führt zu stationären, kleinen Konzentrationen an C3S2, S6, S7 und S8, die gaschromatographisch getrennt und massenspektrometrisch identifiziert werden. Die Ausbeuten der Produkte sind in erster Näherung proportional zur Beschallungsdauer.
