Abstract We investigate the effects of flux creep and microwave absorption on the state of orbital glass. An estimation of the relaxation rate of magnetization associated with the flux creep is made. The possibility of investigating orbital glass with the aid of electron-dipole spin resonances associated with topological defects (π-rings) is discussed. The resonances may be observed at very low temperaturesT〈1 K.
