Description: De familie der sluipvliegen is één van de soortenrijkste vliegenfamilies in ons land.

Description: The rearing of the botfly Cephenemyia auribarbis (Diptera: Oestridae) After several failures we finally succeeded in rearing botflies Cephenemyia from third-instar larvae. From a red deer shot at 13 March 1998 about one hundred larvae of Cephenemyia auribarbis (Meigen, 1824) were collected. Ten individuals reached the pupal stage. After 22 days, one fullgrown male died in the pupa, and two males emerged and lived for 17 and 18 days respectively. This is one of the few recorded succesful attempts to rear botflies.

Description: Author(s): S. Knöner, D. Zielke, S. Köhler, B. Wolf, Th. Wolf, L. Wang, A. Böhmer, C. Meingast, and M. Lang We present temperature-dependent in-plane resistivity measurements on FeSe single crystals under He-gas pressure up to 800 MPa and magnetic fields B ≤ 10 T. A sharp phase transition anomaly is revealed at the tetragonal-to-orthorhombic transition at T s slightly below 90 K. T s becomes reduced with incr... [Phys. Rev. Description: Author(s): S. J. Kuhn, H. Kawano-Furukawa, E. Jellyman, R. Riyat, E. M. Forgan, M. Ono, K. Kihou, C. H. Lee, F. Hardy, P. Adelmann, Th. Wolf, C. Meingast, J. Gavilano, and M. R. Eskildsen Iron-based superconductors, where the Cooper pairing is theorized to arise from magnetic interactions, have emerged as very good model systems for studies of the interplay between superconductivity and magnetism. Superconducting vortices, introduced by an applied magnetic field, can serve as a sensitive probe of the superconducting state in the host material. The authors have used small-angle neutron scattering to study the vortex lattice in KFe 2 As 2 , and perform a comprehensive characterization of the effects of multiband superconductivity and Pauli paramagnetism in this material. In particular, they have succeeded in separating orbital and paramagnetic contributions to the vortex lattice field modulation, and obtain a quantitative measure of the Pauli paramagnetic effects deep within the superconducting phase.
