R. spectra of several SO2-phosphane complexes of nickel and palladium have been investigated. Relationships between donor strength of the phosphane ligands, the vMS and the SO2 stretching frequencies are obvious. Ni(PCy3)2SO2 shows special effects at low temperatures. Our discussions of the spectra make it necessary and possible to give a more precise interpretation between structure of the M—SO2 fragments and the differences Δṽ of the antisymmetric and symmetric stretch of SO2.
    Notes: Die IR-Spektren von ausgewählten SO2-Phosphan-Nickel- bzw. -Palladium-Komplexen wurden aufgenommen und interpretiert. Dabei zeigen sich Zusammenhänge zwischen Donorstärke der Phosphanliganden, den vMS und den SO2-Valenzschwingungen. Für Ni(PCy3)2SO2 wurden zusätzlich Tieftemperaturspektren untersucht. Unsere Spektreninterpretationen relativieren frühere Zuordnungshilfen für Metall-SO2-Koordinationstypen, die auf den Differenzen Δṽ der antisymmetrischen und symmetrischen SO2-Valenzschwingungen beruhen.
