For further elucidation of the structure and mechanism of formation, samples of cellulose-sulfate semiesters prepared in different ways have been investigated by 13C-NMR-spectroscopy in aqueous (D2O) solution. With all samples obtained by dissolution of cellulose in the N2O4/DMF-system and simultaneous acylation with various reagents (SO2, NOSO4H, SO3 · DMF), a preferential substitution in the C-6-position was observed.

Zur weiteren Klärung ihrer Struktur und Bildungsweise wurden unterschidlich hergestellte Cellulosesulfate mittels 13C-NMR-Spektroskopie in wäßriger Lösung (D2O) untersucht. Bei allen unter Auflösung der Cellulose im System N2O4/DMF mit unterschiedlichen Acrylierungsmitteln (SO2, NOSO4H, SO3-DMF) hergestellten Proben wurde eine bevorzugte Substitution in C-6-Stellung beobachtet.
