Description: Given a magnetic field B = -del(vector differential operator)(sub gamma) with gamma expanded in spherical harmonics, it is shown that analytic Euler potentials may be derived for B if gamma is asymmetrical but contains only the contribution of a single index n. This work generalizes a result for sectorial harmonics with n = m, derived by Willis and Gardiner (1988).
