    Notes: Abstract: The magnetization dynamics is studied on 3D micromagnetic structures and in the aperiodic time regime. Experiments are compared with various micromagnetic simulations. The model system chosen is a vertical Bloch line inside a bubble garnet epitaxial film. It is shown that the Slonczewski equations describe with remarkable accuracy the experimental phenomena, qualitatively and quantitatively. The damping constant derived from the adjustment of all data is distinctly higher than the value derived from ferromagnetic resonance. Models for this discrepancy are discussed.
