Description:
Initial results are reported from an observational study which determines how clouds change when the surface warms. Strong regional variation which highlights many features of the atmosphere is found. Analysis of high cloud-SST least absolute deviation indicates that high clouds tend to increase with increasing SST. The idea that the cloud radiative feedback loop in global warming is positive is validated.
