    Description / Table of Contents: On the RbNiCrF6 Type. VI. The Magnetic Behaviour of CsAgScF6, CsCuInF6, CsCuGaF6, and CsCu1-x ZnxGaF6The measurement of the magnetic behaviour of CsAgScF6, CsCuInF6, CsCuGaF6, and CsCu1-xZnxGaF6 (3-300 K) is described and discussed. The interpretation assumes antiferromagnetic interactions, which are limited to small areas because of the statistical distributions of MII and MIII. Frequency and magnitude of these areas were computed on a model, the magnetic moment of the compounds were approximately calculated.
    Notes: Messungen des magnetischen Verhaltens von CsAgScF6, CsCuInF6, CsCuGaF6 und der Mischkristalle CsCu1-xZnxGaF6 (3-300 K) werden beschrieben und diskutiert. Die Deutung erfolgt unter Annahme antiferromagnetischer Wechselwirkungen, die wegen der statistischen Verteilung von MII und MIII auf kleine Bereiche der Kristallite begrenzt bleiben. Häufigkeit und Größe dieser Bereiche wird modellmäßig ermittelt und das magnetische Verhalten näherungsweise berechnet.

    Description / Table of Contents: On the Magnetic Behaviour of PdF2 and the Mixed Crystals Pd1-xZnxF2Powder samples of PdF2 and the mixed crystals Pd1-xZnxF2 have been investigated magnetically; they show weak ferromagnetism below the magnetic transition temperature. Neutron diffraction measurements on PdF2 at 300 K and 4.2 K have been compared, to understand more exactly the ordering of spins. The orientations of spins in PdF2 at 4.2 K is perpendicular to the tetragonal c-axis and therefore similar to NiF2.
    Notes: PdF2 und die Mischkristalle Pd1-xZnxF2 sind an Pulvern magnetisch untersucht worden und zeigen unterhalb der magnetischen Übergangstemperatur schwachen Ferromagnetismus. Um die Spinordnung genauer zu klären, sind Neutronenbeugungsuntersuchungen an PdF2 bei 300 K und 4,2 K miteinander verglichen worden. Die Spinorientierung bei 4,2 K ist senkrecht zur tetragonalen c-Achse und damit ähnlich wie bei NiF2.

    Description / Table of Contents: Magnetochemistry of Divalent Silver. New Fluoroargentates(II): Cs2AgF4, Rb2AgF4, and K2AgF4Hitherto unknown blue compounds Rb2AgF4 and Cs2AgF4 are prepared. Guinier patterns show, that Cs2AgF4 cristallise in the K2NiF4 structure (a = 4.581, c = 14.192 Å). The structure of the Rb-compound is still unknown. The magnetic behaviour of K2AgF4, Rb2AgF4, and Cs2AgF4 is discussed.
    Notes: Neu dargestellt wurden die blauen Verbindungen Rb2AgF4 und Cs2AgF4. Nach Guinier-Aufnahmen kristallisiert Cs2AgF4 tetragonal (a = 4,581, c = 14,192 Å) und ist mit K2NiF4 isotyp. Die Struktur von Rb2AgF4 ist bislang unbekannt. Über den Magnetismus von K2AgF4, Rb2AgF4 und Cs2AgF4 wird berichtet.

    Description / Table of Contents: Magnetochemistry of Fluoroargentates(II): Investigation of Ba[AgF4], Sr[AgF4], Ba2AgF6, K[AgF3], and Cs[AgF3]Ba[AgF4] (Θ = -4 K, μ = 1.92 μB), isostructural with K[BrF4] with planar [AgF4] groups, fullfil the Curie-Weiss-law, also Ba2AgF6 (Θ = 4 K, Θ = 1.85 μB) which is related with the structure of Ba2CuF6. The variante of perovskite-type K[AgF3] (orthorhombic) and Cs[AgF3] (tetragonal perovscite) show collective magnetic interactions (TN = 80 K, KAgF3, and 50 K, CsAgF3) and show a behaviour like AgF2 (TN160 K) correspondingly to the magnetic dilution. Above TN paramagnetism is nearly independend of tempearture.
    Notes: Ba[AgF4] (Θ = -4K, μ = 1,92μB), Sr[AgF4] (μ = -6 K, μ = 1,78μB) und Hg[AgF4] (Θ = -6 K, μ = 1,86 μB), Vertreter des K[BrF4]-Typs mit planaren [AgF4]-Gruppen, befolgen das Curie-Weissche Gesetz, ebenso Ba2AgF6, strukturell mit Ba2CuF6 verwandt (Θ = +4 K, μ = 1,85 μB). Die Perowskit-Varianten K[AgF3] (orthorhombisch) und Cs[AgF3] (tetragonaler Perowskit) zeigen kollektive magnetische Wechselwirkungen (TN = +80 K, KAgF3, bzw. +50 K, CsAgF3) und lehnen sich, der magnetischen Verdünnung entsprechend, an AgF2 (TN = 160 K) an. Oberhalb TN tritt praktisch temperaturunabhängiger Paramagnetismus (μ ≈ 1,0 μB) auf.

    Description / Table of Contents: Notice on the Magnetic Behaviour of Li3CrO4Li3CrO4, a smaragd green powder, is due to powder photographs (Guinier-Simon-technique) isotypic with orthorhombic HT—Li3PO4, a = 6.309, b = 10.851, c = 4.952 Å, Z = 4. Between 298 and 10K the Curie-Weiss-Law is obeyed with μ=1.60 B.M. and Θ=+10 K. Below 5 K ferromagnetism is observed. ESR measurements at 4.2 K and more pronounced at 1.8 K show anisotropy of the ligand field.
    Notes: Li3CrO4, ein smaragdgrünes Pulver, ist nach Guinier-Simon-Aufnahmen isotyp mit HT-Li3PO4, a = 6,309 Å, b = 10,851 Å, c = 4,952 Å, Z = 4. Zwischen 298 und 10 K wird das Curie-Weisssche Gesetz mit μ=1,60 B.M., Θ=+10K befolgt. Unterhalb von 5 K tritt überraschend Ferromagnetismus auf. ESR-Messungen bei 4,2 K und ausgeprägter bei 1,8 K zeigen eine Anisotropie des Ligandenfeldes.
