On the Problem of Octahedra Elongation on La2CuO4, La2NiO4 with a Contribution about CaSmAlO4Compounds with K2NiF4 structure [La2CuO4, La2NiO4, M2CuO2X2, (M = Ca, Sr; X= Cl, Br) und MSEAlO4 (M= Ca, Sr; SE = La, Er)] are showing a tetragonal distortion of the octahedral oxygen surrounding of Cu, Ni, Al. Without La2CuO4 there is no evidence, that the elongation of the oxygen octahedrals may be caused by the Jahn-Teller effect.

Verbindungen des K2NiF4-Typs [La2CuO4, La2NiO4, M2CuO2X2 (M = Ca, Sr; X = Cl, Br) und MSEAlO4 (M = Ca, Sr; SE = La, Er)] zeigen eine tetragonale Verzerrung der Sauerstoffoktaeder um Cu, Ni, Al. Es wird gezeigt, daß diese Oktaederstreckung im hohen Maß strukturtypisch ist und nur für La2CuO4 ein Einfluß des Jahn-Teller-Effekts vorliegt.
