Ultrarot-Spektrum und Normalkoordinaten-Analyse von CH3O2 und einigen isotopen MolekülenDas Methylperoxy-Radikal wurde in einer Matrix (Ar + 10% O2) isoliert und das IR-Spektrum aufgenommen. Die folgenden isotopen Moleküle wurden eingesetzt und untersucht: CH3, 13CH3, CD3, 16O2, 18O2 und 16O18O. Im Gesamten wurden 64 Frequenzen den verschiedenen isotopen Peroxy-Radikalen zugeordnet. Es wurde eine Normalkoordinaten-Analyse des Methylperoxy-Radikals durchgeführt, die eine gute Übereinstimmung zwischen beobachteten und berechneten Frequenzen ergab.
    Notes: The methylperoxy radical has been isolated in matrices of Ar + 10% O2 and its IR spectrum observed. The following isotopic species were used in the investigation: CH3, 13CH3, CD3, 16O2, 18O2, and 16O18O. A total of 64 frequencies were identified for the various isotopically labelled peroxy radicals. A normal coordinate analysis for the methylperoxy radical has been made. Good agreement between the observed and calculated frequencies was obtained.

Die Ergebnisse werden in Verbindung mit den Ergebnissen der Elektronenstreuung und des Bindungsverhaltens diskutiert.
    Notes: Mean amplitudes of vibration and perpendicular amplitude correction coefficients are calculated for (CH3)3N · BF3 and (CH3)3N · BCl3 complexes using different versions of force fields originating from spectroscopic studies with somewhat different assignments. The results are discussed in conjunction with the electron diffraction results and bonding features.

    Description / Table of Contents: Normalkoordinaten-Analyse der Radikale CF3O2 and C2F5Es wurde eine Normalkoordinaten-Analyse der Radikale CF3O2 und C2F5 durchgeführt. Die Kraftkonstanten wurden ermittelt. Bei CF3O2 wurden in die Analyse vier isotope Verbindungen mit 16O und 18O einbezogen. Die berechneten Schwingungsfrequenzen stimmen gut mit experimentellen Werten überein. Wenige Änderungen einer früheren Zuordnung zu den Grundschwingungen werden vorgeschlagen.
    Notes: Normal coordinate analyses are performed for the radicals CF3O2 and C2F5. The force constants are given. The analysis of CF3O2 includes four isotopic compounds with 16O and 18O. The calculated vibrational frequencies are in good agreement with previously published observed data. A few changes are proposed in the previous tentative assignments of fundamentals and approximate mode descriptions.

Mit Hilfe einer Normalkoordinaten-Analyse werden Frequenzen und Amplituden der Schwingungen berechnet.
    Notes: The infrared spectra of the beryllium fluoride vapor species isolated in matrices of neon and argon were obtained in the range (2000-190) cm-1. Four frequencies were identified as belonging to the dimer Be2F4. Assuming the latter to have a planarbridge structure of D2h symmetry, the frequencies in a neon matrix were tentatively assigned. A normal coordinate analysis of the dimer molecule is presented together with the calculated vibrational frequencies and the calculated mean amplitudes of vibration.
