Reaction of CF3COOH with Chlorophosphines RnPCl3-n (R = C2H5, C6H5; n = 1, 2) gave the thermal and storage instable mixed anhydrides RnP(OCOCF3)3-n (Alkyl- and Aryl phosphonic- and Phosphinic acid-Trifluoroacetic acid anhydrides) (1, 4, 8, 13). During storage at room temperature or advantageously at controlled temperature increase these anhydrides undergo rearrangement and condensation, yielding intermediates, which could be isolated in the cases of [CF3CO(C2H5)P(O)]2O (Ethyl-trifluoroacetyl phosphinic acid anhydride) (2), C6H5P(O)(OCOCF3)2 (Bistrifluoroacetyl benzene phosphonic acid) (5) and (C2H5)2P(O)OP(C2H5)2(COCF3)2 Diethylphosphinic acid-bistrifluoroacetyl-diethylorthophosphinic acid anhydride (9). The thermally stable final products are formed.

Umsetzung von CF3COOH und Chlorphosphinen RnPCl3-n (R = C2H5, C6H5; n = 1, 2) liefert thermisch und lagerinstabile gemischte Anhydride RnP(OCOCF3)3-n (Alkyl- bzw. Aryl-Phosphonsäure und -Phosphonigsäure-Trifluoressigsäureanhydride) (1, 4, 8, 13): Diese gehen bei Lagerung bei Raumtemp., in besser kontrol-lierbarer Weise bei definierter Temperatursteigerung unter Umlagerung und Kondensation über die in Einzelfällen faßbaren Zwischenstufen Äthyl-trifluoracetylphosphonsäurean-hydrid [CF3CO(C2H5)P(O)]2P (2), Bis-trifluoracetylbenzolphosphonsäure C5H5P(O)(COCF3)2 (5) und Diäthylphosphinsäure-bistrifluoracetyl-diäthylorthophosphinsäureanhydrid (C2H5)2P(O)OP(C2H5)2(COCF3)2 (9) in die unter Decarbonylierung entstehenden stabilen End-produkte Bis-trifluormethyl-äthan(benzol)phosphonsäureanhydrid [R(CF3)P(O)]2O (3, 7) und Dialkyl(aryl)phosphinsäure-bistrifluormethyl-dialkyl(diaryl)orthophosphinsäure-anhydrid R2P(O)OP(R2)(CF3)2 (11, 14) über.
