    Notes: Aus Phenanthrenchinon (1) und ätherischer Diazomethan-Lösung entsteht in Gegenwart von Lithium-Ionen anstelle des bereits bekannten Mono-Epoxids 2 das Bis-Epoxid 10, in Gegenwart von viel Methanol dagegen das ringerweiterte Epoxyketon 16, aus dem sich weitere Derivate des 2.3;4.5-Dibenzo-tropons herstellen lassen.  -  Für die aus 1 und Diazoäthan bzw. Diphenyldiazomethan entstehenden Verbindungen wird die Dioxol-Struktur 5 bestätigt. Diazoessigsäure-äthylester gibt mit 1 in Gegenwart von Aluminiumchlorid unter 2facher Ringerweiterung 2.3-Dihydroxy-1.4-bis-äthoxycarbonyl-5.6;7.8-dibenzo-cyclooctatetraen (18). Die Umsetzung von 1 mit Diazoessigester in Methanol oder Äthanol liefert, besonders gut in Gegenwart von Kupferpulver, ohne Ringerweiterung das entsprechende 9-Hydroxy-9-[alkoxy-äthoxycarbonyl-methyl]-9.10-dihydro-phenanthron-(10) (21), wobei vermutlich ein aldolartiges Addukt 20 durchlaufen wird, dessen Diazogruppe in bekannter Weise durch H—OCH3 bzw. H—OC2H5 substituiert wird.  -  Die erhaltenen Verbindungen werden durch Derivate und weitere Umwandlungen charakterisiert.

    Description / Table of Contents: Trinuclear Ruthenium Cluster Anions Containing Triorganylsilyl, -germyl, and -stannyl LigandsThe reaction of Na[HRu3(CO)11] with triorganylsilanes, -germanes, and -stannanes R'R2XH (X = Si, Ge, Sn; R, R' = organyl) affords trinuclear cluster anions of the type [HRu3(CO)10(XR2R')2]-, which can be isolated as the bis(triphenylphosphoranyliden)ammonium or the tetraethylammonium salts. The structure of an isosceles Ru3 triangle with one hydride bridge and two XR2R' ligands at the bridgehead ruthenium atoms is proposed for the anions on the basis of NMR evidence. The reaction proceeds under elimination of H2 and CO and is reversible; the formation of [HRu3(CO)10(SiEt3)2]- from [DRu3(CO)11]- and Et3SiH reveals the eliminated hydrogen to be arising from the cluster.
    Notes: Die Umsetzung von Na[HRu3(CO)11] mit Triorganylsilanen, -germanen und -stannanen R'R2XH (X = Si, Ge, Sn; R, R' = organyl) führt zu dreikernigen Clusteranionen des Typs [HRu3(CO)10(XR2R')2]-, die sich als Bis(triphenylphosphoranyliden)ammonium- bzw. Tetraethylammonium-Salze isolieren lassen. Aufgrund der spektroskopischen Befunde wird für die Anionen die Struktur eines gleichschenkligen Ru3-Dreiecks mit einer Hydridbrücke und zwei XR2R'-Liganden an den beiden Brückenkopf-Rutheniumatomen vorgeschlagen. Die Reaktion verläuft unter Eliminierung von H2 und CO und ist reversibel; die Bildung von [HRu3(CO)10(SiEt3)2]- aus [DRu3(CO)11]- und Et3SiH zeigt, daß der freigesetzte Wasserstoff aus dem Cluster eliminiert wird.

    Description / Table of Contents: Reactions of Arene-tricarbonylchromium Complexes With Carbon DisulfidePhotolysis of the arene-tricarbonylchromium complexes ArCr(CO)3 (1a-c) (Ar = hexamethyl-benzene (a), mesitylene (b), benzene (c) in pentane solution in the presence of cyclooctene, followed by the reaction with carbon disulfide, leads to η2-CS2 complexes of the type ArCr(CO)2CS2 (2a-c) which can be desulfurized by trimethylphosphine to give the thiocarbonyl compounds ArCr(CO)2CS (3a-c). Decomposition of the CS2 complexes is facilitated if the charge density at the metal decreases, i. e. in the order 2a 〉 2b 〉 2c. In the case of Ar = methyl p-methylbenzoate (d), the analogous reaction with CS2 results in the formation of a binuclear complex [ArCr(CO)2]2CS2 (4) which contains a CS2 bridge. IR and 1H NMR spectra of the new complexes are described.
    Notes: Durch Photolyse der Aromat-tricarbonylchrom-Komplexe ArCr(CO)3 (1a-c) (Ar = Hexamethylbenzol (a), Mesitylen (b), Benzol (c) in Pentanlösung in Gegenwart von Cycloocten und nachfolgende Umsetzung mit Kohlenstoffdisulfid werden η2-CS2-Komplexe des Typs ArCr(CO)2CS2 (2a-c) erhalten, die sich mit Trimethylphosphan zu den Thiocarbonyl-Verbindungen ArCr(CO)2CS (3a-c) desulfurieren lassen. Die Beständigkeit der CS2-Komplexe sinkt mit abnehmender Ladungsdichte am Metall in der Reihe 2a 〉 2b 〉 2c. Im Falle Ar = p-Toluylsäure-methylester (d) entsteht bei der analogen Reaktion mit CS2 ein zweikerniger Komplexe [ArCr(CO)2]2CS2 (4), der eine CS2-Brücke enthält. IR- und 1H-NMR-Spektren der neuen Komplexe werden beschrieben.

    Description / Table of Contents: Novel [4.5]-Spiroheterocycles Presenting a CO - NR Sequence by Ruthenium Catalyzed Spirocyclisation of IsocyanatesAlkyl isocyanates react in the presence of triethylsilane and catalytic amounts of [N(PPh3)2][HRu3(CO)10(SiEt3)2] to give 1,3,6,8,10-pentaazaspiro[4.5]decane-2,4,7,9-tetrones. The novel spiroheterocycles consist of alternating CO and NR building units. Diisocyanates result in the formation of duroplastic polymers with CO - NR sequence and spiro-C ties.
    Notes: Alkylisocyanate reagieren in Gegenwart von Triethylsilan und von katalytischen Mengen an [N(PPh3)2][HRu3(CO)10(SiEt3)2] zu 1,3,6,8,10-Pentaazaspiro[4.5]decan-2,4,7,9-tetronen. Die neuen Spiroheterocyclen bestehen aus alternierenden CO- und NR-Baueinheiten. Aus Diisocyanaten entstehen duroplastische Polymere mit CO - NR-Sequenz und Spiro-C-Vernetzung.

An Approach to the 2-Oxabicyclo[2.2.0]hexene/3-Oxatricyclo[3.1.0.02,6]hexane System by Thermal Cycloaddition of Carbonyl Compounds onto a Stable CyclobutadieneCarboxylic acid chlorides (2a,b) undergo 1,4-addition with 1 to the cyclobutenes 3a and b, whereas for aldehydes and ketones cycloaddition-behaviour is observed. Aldehydes (4a - c) react smoothly with 1 under formation of the oxabicycles 5a - c, activated ketones (6a - f) yield the oxatricycles 7a - f. In chloroform 7b - e can be transformed into bicyclic isomers (8b - e and/or 9b - e). Tricarbonyl compounds undergo cycloaddition reactions with 1 too: Diethyl mesoxalate (10a) leads to the formation of the oxatricyclohexane 11a, trioxoindane (10b) is responsible for the formation of the oxabicyclohexene 12b, which is in equilibrium with 11b in chloroform. Homocyclopropenylium cations (13,14) are proposed to be intermediates in the 1,4-addition-, cycloaddition- and the isomerization process in the oxabicyclohexene/oxatricyclohexane system.
    Notes: Carbonsäurechloride (2a,b) gehen mit dem Cyclobutadien 1 1,4-Addition zu den Cyclobutenen 3a und b ein, während man für Aldehyde und aktivierte Ketone Cycloadditionsverhalten beobachtet. Aldehyde (4a - c) reagieren glatt mit 1 zu den Oxabicyclen 5a - c, aktivierte Ketone (6a - f) liefern die Oxatricyclen 7a - f. In Chloroform lassen sich 7b - e in bicyclische Isomere (8b - e und/oder 9b - e) umwandeln. Tricarbonylverbindungen gehen mit 1 ebenfalls Cycloadditionsreaktionen ein: Mesoxalsäure-diethylester (10a) führt zur Bildung des Oxatricyclohexans 11a, Trioxoindan (10b) ist für die Bildung des Oxabicyclohexens 12b verantwortlich, das in Chloroform mit 11b im Gleichgewicht steht. Für die 1,4-Addition, die Cycloaddition und die Isomerisierung im Oxabicyclohexen/Oxatricyclohexan-System werden Homocyclopropenylium-Kationen (13,14) als Zwischenstufen vorgeschlagen.

Azapentafulvenes from 2,3,4-Tri-tert-butylcyclobutadiene-1-carboxylic Esters and IsonitrilesFrom kinetically stabilized cyclobutadienes 6a and b and isonitriles 7a-c the azapentafulvenes 9a-d are obtained. In contrast, 6a reacts with 7d exclusively to form the constitution isomeric azapentafulvene 11e. Both isomers (9f and 11f) are realized in the reaction of 6a with 7e. The structural assignment of the isomers 9 and 11 is based on 13C NMR investigations as well as on an X-ray analysis performed for 9a. Hydrolysis of 9 and 11 yields the tri-tert-butyl substituted cyclopentadienones 20a,b and 21. By photochemical means 21 is transformed into the isomer 20a, which can also be obtained directly from the cyclobutadiene 6a and carbon monoxide.
    Notes: Aus den kinetisch stabilisierten Cyclobutadienen 6a bzw. b und den Isonitrilen 7a-c erhält man die Azapentafulvene 9a-d. Im Gegensatz dazu reagiert 6a mit 7d ausschließlich unter Bildung des konstitutionsisomeren Azapentafulvens 11e. Beide Möglichkeiten (9f und 11f) werden bei der Umsetzung von 6a mit 7e wahrgenommen. Die Strukturzuordnung der Isomeren 9 und 11 beruht auf 13C-NMR-Untersuchungen sowie auf der Röntgenstrukturanalyse für 9a. Hydrolyse von 9 und 11 macht die tri-tert-butylsubstituierten Cyclopentadienone 20a,b und 21 zugänglich. Photochemisch läßt sich 21 in das Isomere 20a umwandeln, das auch unmittelbar aus dem Cyclobutadien 6a und Kohlenmonoxid erhalten werden kann.

On the basis of the spectroscopic data the structure of an isosceles triangle is proposed for the anions; the two phosphane ligands and the silyl group are assumed to occupy an equatorial position at each of the three ruthenium atoms.
    Notes: Die Umsetzung von Na[HRu3(CO)10(SiR21R2)2] mit phosphorhaltigen Liganden PR33 führt zu dreikernigen Clusteranionen des Typs [Ru3(CO)9(SiR21R2)(PR33)2]- die sich als Bis(triphenyl-phosphoranyliden)ammoniumsalze isolieren lassen. Aufgrund der spektroskopischen Befunde wird für die Anionen die Struktur einem gleichschenkligen Dreiecks vorgeschlagen; die beiden Phosphanliganden und die Silylgruppe besetzen dabei offenbar je eine äquatoriale Position an eines der drei Rutheniumatome.
