Zusammenfassung Eine neue massenspezifische Nachweismethode, bei der einzelne Peakgruppen des Massenspektrums erfaßt werden und somit zusätzliche Informationen erbringen, wird beschrieben. An Hexachlorbenzol und Lindan als Beispielen wird gezeigt, nach welchen Kriterien eine Auswahl der Peakgruppen zu erfolgen hat. Die besondere Bedeutung dieser massenspektrometrischen und peakgruppenspezifischen Untersuchungen liegt in der Möglichkeit, gas-chromatographisch schwierig zu trennende Stoffe eindeutig zu identifizieren.

Abstract An improved mass specific identification method is described. Additional information to gas chromatographic data is derived from special peak groups of the mass spectrum. How to choose the peak groups is shown by the examples of hexachlorobenzene and lindane. The importance of the mass spectroscopic method of peak group specifity lies in a reliable identification even of substances which cannot be separated properly by gas chromatography.
