    Vijfde aanvulling op de naamlijst van Nederlandse sluipvliegen (Diptera: Tachinidae) (2016)

    Description: De familie der sluipvliegen is één van de soortenrijkste vliegenfamilies in ons land. De larven ontwikkelen zich inwendig in ongewervelden, veelal vlinderrupsen. De groep is in ons land relatief goed bestudeerd en de afgelopen jaren zijn diverse aanvullingen op de checklist uit 2002 gepubliceerd. In dit artikel worden wederom twee soorten voor het eerst uit ons land vermeld. Hiermee komt het totaal aantal soorten dat in Nederland is vastgesteld op 336. Daarnaast wordt de herontdekking van een soort beschreven die al meer dan een eeuw niet meer waargenomen was.

    Description: Faunistic review of the Dutch woodlouse-flies (Diptera: Rhinophoridae) The faunistics of the seven Dutch species of Rhinophoridae are discussed. Of each species a short diagnosis , its distribution in the Netherlands, habitat and phenology are given. The larvae of all Rhinophoridae are endoparasites on woodlice (Isopoda: Oniscidae). In a separate paper information on associations with hosts and other ecological information will be discussed.

    Description: The rearing of the botfly Cephenemyia auribarbis (Diptera: Oestridae) After several failures we finally succeeded in rearing botflies Cephenemyia from third-instar larvae. From a red deer shot at 13 March 1998 about one hundred larvae of Cephenemyia auribarbis (Meigen, 1824) were collected. Ten individuals reached the pupal stage. After 22 days, one fullgrown male died in the pupa, and two males emerged and lived for 17 and 18 days respectively. This is one of the few recorded succesful attempts to rear botflies.

    Description: Meer dan twintig jaar geleden keerde de eikenprocessierups terug in ons land. Al snel werden de aantallen zo groot, eerst in Noord-Brabant, later ook in andere delen van het land, dat ongemak en risico\xe2\x80\x99s voor de volksgezondheid ontstonden vanwege de extreem\nirriterende brandharen van de rups. De eikenprocessierups heeft een geheel eigen spectrum aan parasitoiden, waarvan de sluipvliegen in aantal verreweg het grootst zijn. In dit artikel wordt een nieuwe parasiet van de eikenprocessierups gepresenteerd.

    Description: Sluipvliegen vormen een soortenrijke groep, waarvan de larven leven in andere insecten. Veel soorten zijn gebonden aan vlinderrupsen. In dit artikel worden zes nieuwe soorten sluipvliegen voor Nederland gemeld. Hiermee komt het totaal aantal Nederlandse soorten op 331. Daar is dan de vondst van de bijzondere wantsenparasiet Trichopoda pennipes niet bijgeteld. Hiervan wordt aangenomen dat het een incidentele import betreft.
