    Description / Table of Contents: Structure and Properties of CuxMoO3Cu0.185MoO3 was found in the coexistence range MoO3—Cu4Mo5O17—MoO2. The structure was determined by X-ray diffraction on selected monocrystals. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c (a = 1 668.8(3), b = 932.2(3), c = 543.1(2) pm, β = 102,78(1)°, Z = 2).
    Notes: Cu0,185MoO3 wurde im Koexistenzgebiet MoO3—Cu4Mo5O17—MoO2 nachgewiesen. Die Strukturbestimmung erfolgte durch Röntgenbeugung an ausgelesenen Einkristallen. Cu0,185MoO3 kristallisiert in der monoklinen Raumgruppe C2/c (a = 1 668,8(3), b = 932,2(3), c = 543,1(2) pm, β = 102,78(1)°, Z = 2).

    Description / Table of Contents: Coexistence Relations, Preparation and Properties of Ternary Compounds in the System Cu/Mo/OThe phase diagram of the ternary system Cu/Mo/O is presented at 773 K. The compounds CuMoO4, Cu3Mo2O9, Cu4Mo5O17, Cu6Mo5O18, Cu4-xMo3O12, and CuxMoO3 are found to be thermodynamical stable. The homogeneity range of Cu4-xMo3O12 runs to x = 0.1-0.2. Single crystals of CuMoO4 and Cu3Mo2O9 were grown by chemical transport reactions with TeCl4, Cl2, HCl, and Br2 as transport agent. The results were compared with thermochemical calculations. The decomposition of CuMoO4 and Cu3Mo2O9 was investigated with thermal analysis and decompositon pressure measurements.
    Notes: Das Phasendiagramm des ternären Systems Cu/Mo/O wurde für 773 K aufgestellt. Die ternären Verbindungen CuMoO4, Cu3Mo2O9, Cu4Mo5O17, Cu6Mo5O18, Cu4-xMo3O12 und CuxMoO3 sind unter diesen Bedingungen thermodynamisch stabil. Die Phasenbreite von Cu4-xMo3O12 beträgt maximal x = 0,1-0,2. Einkristalle von CuMoO4 und Cu3Mo2O9 konnten durch Chemische Transportreaktionen mit den Transportmitteln TeCl4, Cl2, HCl und Br2 dargestellt werden. Die Transportergebnisse wurden mit den Resultaten thermochemischer Modellrechnungen verglichen. Die Zersetzung von CuMoO4 und Cu3Mo2O9 wurde mit Druckmessungen und DTA/TG-Untersuchungen beschrieben.
