Description:
Bulk chemical analyses of manganese nodules retrieved during the R.V. Tangaroa cruise of May-June 1976. The nodules occur on silty clay. Approximately two-thirds are either small (〈 3 cm) spheroidals (often faceted) or small polynucleates with relatively uniform microbotryoidal surface textures.
