Zusammenfassung Ein dünnschicht-chromatographisches Verfahren wird beschrieben, mit dem eine einfache und schnelle Identifizierung von Tensiden möglich ist. Das Verfahren eignet sich besonders zum Nachweis von Alkylsulfaten und Alkylethersulfaten. Diese Tenside finden vielfach als Basiskomponenten in Shampoos und Schaumbadepräparaten Verwendung. Zur Detektion können verschiedene Reagentien herangezogen werden, deren Farbreaktionen geprüft und zusammengestellt wurden. Besonders geeignet und empfindlich ist die Detektion mit Pinakryptolgelb-Reagens. Für diese Nachweisreaktion wurden die Nachweisgrenzen ermittelt.

Summary A thin-layer chromatographic procedure is described for a simple and rapid identification of surfactants. It is especially suitable for the identification of alkyl sulphates and alkyl ether sulphates. These surfactants are often used as basic components of shampoos and foam bath preparations. For detection, various indicators can be used; their colour reactions were examined and listed. Especially adequate and sensitive for detection is the pinacryptol yellow reagent. The detection limits for this identifying reaction were ascertained.
