We find unstable flow in 1-6% solutions of poly(isobutylene) 200 in toluene (M = 3,5·106, light scattering) by measuring flow curves with capillaries R = 1,5·10-2cm, the L/R-ratio of which differs in the range of 10 to 660. Together with observations from literature, results are interpreted by the idea of Vinogradov that above a critical shear rate the viscoelastic fluid passes into the high-elastic (rubbery) state, the flow changing to slip flow (spurt).

Instabiles Fließen im Hochdruckkapillarviskosimeter wird an 1-proz. bis 6-proz. Lösungen von Polyisobutylen 200 (M = 3,5 · 106, Lichtstreuung) in Toluol bei Aufnahme von Fließkurven festgestellt. Der Durchmesser der verwendeten Kapillaren betrug 1,5· 10-2cm, das L/R-Verhältnis zwischen 10 und 660. Zusammen mit anderen aus der Literatur bekannten Ergebnissen werden die Resultate mit Hilfe der Vorstellung von Vinogradov gedeutet, daß oberhalb einer kritischen Scherrate Dkrit die viskoelastische Flüssigkeit in den gummielastischen Zustand übergeht und statt des Fließens ein Gleitfließen (spurt) einsetzt.
