    Notes: The racemic phthalazinone derivatives azelastine and flezelastine were resolved via formation of diastereomeric salts and fractional crystallization thereof. The optical purity of the enantiomers was checked by HPLC. Pharmacological investigations in vitro and in vivo related to antiallergic/antiasthmatic activity revealed some stereospecific differences. However, chiral discrimination could not be observed with regard to overall activity of azelastine and flezelastine. © 1993 Wiley-Liss, Inc.

    Notes: 13-O-β-D-Glucopyranosylgibberellin A5 β-D-glucopyranosyl ester (2a) was synthesized by base-catalyzed (triethylamine) reaction of gibberellin A5 13-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (4a) with α-acetobromoglucose followed by mild sodium methanolate deacetylation. Structures of the gibberellin A5 glucosyl conjugates were established by LSI-MS, ESI-MS, and 1H-NMR spectroscopy.

    Description: Eine wichtige Voraussetzung für die Einführung geeigneter Erosionsschutzmaßnahmen in die landwirtschaftliche Praxis ist eine möglichst genaue, schlagbezogene Quantifizierung der Erosion bzw. des Erosionsrisikos einschließlich der damit verbundenen, langfristigen Folgewirkungen (vgl. RAT FÜR UMWELTFRAGEN, 1935, S. 330ff). Aufgrund der Vielzahl der hierbei zu berücksichtigenden Einzeleinflüsse ist dies nur mit Hilfe computergestützter, mathematischer Modelle möglich. Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, ein solches, auf die praktischen Belange des Boden- und Gewässerschutzes abgestelltes Bodenerosionsmodell zu entwickeln.
