Description:
The levels of gluatmine synthetase specific activity in hepatic and renal tissue are higher in fish that are ureosmoregulators than in those that are not. Enzyme activities in the liver and kidney of 18 species of fish correlated directly with the ureosmoregulatory adaptation of each species.〈br /〉〈span class="detail_caption"〉Notes: 〈/span〉Webb, J T -- Brown, G W Jr -- New York, N.Y. -- Science. 1980 Apr 18;208(4441):293-5.〈br /〉〈span class="detail_caption"〉Record origin:〈/span〉 〈a href="http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6102799" target="_blank"〉PubMed〈/a〉
