Notes:
Fibers of a cellulose-TiO2 composite were prepared by the reaction of cellulose with titanium iso-propoxide. Enzymes were immobilized on the fibers easily and simply under mild conditions. The fibers were stable in common solvents, high ionic solutions, and over a wide range of pH values 3-10. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
