    Notes: Es wird eine Anordnung zur Darstellung von wasserfreiem TiCl3 in Anlehnung an die Apparatur von SCHUMB u. Mitarb.(2)(3) beschrieben, die ein grobkristallines Produkt in guter Ausbeute liefert. Das Absorptionsspektrum wäßriger TiCl3-Lösungen, die im wesentlichen Hexaquo-Ionen [Ti(H2O)6]3+ enthalten, wurde neu vermessen. Weiterhin wurden die Absorptionseigenschaften von Lösungen von TiCl3 in absolutem Methanol und Äthanol, in denen die Hexaalkoholatokomplexe [Ti(CH3OH)6]3+ und [Ti(C2H5OH)6]3+ vorhanden sind, ermittelt. Die Darstellung des kristallisierten Titan(III)-hexa-isopropyl-alkoholato-chlorids [Ti(isopr.)6]Cl3 wird beschrieben.

    Notes: Die im sichtbaren Spektralbereich erfolgende Photolyse des [Cr en3]3+ wird qualitativ untersucht. Es wird gezeigt, daß Licht- und Dunkelreaktion identisch sind und sich nur hinsichtlich ihrer Geschwindigkeit unterscheiden. Der erste faßbare Reaktionsschritt besteht in der Abspaltung einer äthylendiamin-Molekel mit anschließender Aquotisierung zu cis-[Cr en2(H2O)2]3+. Je nach den speziellen Versuchsbedingungen schließen sich verschiedenartige Folgereaktionen an. Diese werden für diskutiert.

    Description / Table of Contents: A method of preparing [Cr tn3]Cl3 (tn = NH2 · CH2 · CH2 · CH2 · NH2) by direct interaction between CrCl3 and trimethylene diamine is described. From the new compound, complex salts of the type [Cr tn3]X3 with X = Br-, J-, ClO-4, and NO-3 have been obtained.The absorption spectrum of [Cr tn3]+ is given. Attempts to isolate optical antipodes are described.
    Notes: Es wird eine Methode zur Darstellung von [Cr tn3]Cl3(tn = NH2 · CH2 · CH2 ·CH2 · NH2) in direkter Reaktion aus CrCl3 und Trimethylendiamin angegeben. Aus dem Chlorid erhält man durch Umfällen mit entsprechenden Säuren und Alkalisalzen [Cr tn3]X3 mit X = Br-, J-, ClO-4 und NO-3. Das Absorptionsspektrum von [Cr tn3]3+ wird mitgeteilt. Versuche zur Trennung in die optischen Antipoden werden beschrieben.

    Description / Table of Contents: The reaction of aliphatic diamines, H2N(CH2)nNH2, with anhydrous CrCl3 has been studied. Diamines with n ≥ 4 yield unsoluble polymeric compounds of the general composition trans-{[Cr am2 Cl2]Cl}∞ (am = diamine). Attempts to determine the structural properties are described.
    Notes: Die Einwirkung aliphatischer Diamine des Typs H2N(CH2)nNH2 auf CrCl3 wird untersucht. Bei Diaminen mit n ≥ 4 entstehen unlösliche, polymere Verbindungen der allgemeinen Zusammensetzung {trans-[Cr am2 Cl2]Cl}∞ (am = Diamin). Es werden Versuche zur Strukturaufklärung beschrieben.

    Description / Table of Contents: Complex compounds of Cr3+, Fe3+, Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, and Cu2+ with dimethyl sulfoxide as ligand were prepared from the related metal-halogenides, -nitrates, and -perchlorates. The properties of the compounds are described. The results of a qualitative thermal decomposition and of solubility measurements are reported.
    Notes: Komplexverbindungen von Cr3+, Fe3+, Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+ und Cu2+ mit Dimethylsulfoxid als Ligand wurden aus den entsprechenden Metall-Halogeniden, -Nitraten und -Perchloraten dargestellt. Die Eigenschaften der Verbindungen werden beschrieben. Über die Ergebnisse eines qualitativen thermischen Abbaues sowie von Löslichkeitsmessungen wird berichtet.

    Description / Table of Contents: The chromium(III) complex compounds [Cr (dien)2]J3, [Cr (ditn)2]J3, and cis-[Cr (trien) Cl2] Cl · H2O are prepared by direct interaction of violet CrCl3 and the respective tridentate amines diethylene triamine (dien), and 3,3′-diamino-dipropylamine (ditn), and the tetradentate triethylene tetramine (trien). The absorption spectra of these compounds are described.
    Notes: Durch direkte Einwirkung der freien Amine Diäthylentriamin (dien: H2N(CH2)2NH (CH2)2NH2), 3,3′-Diamino-dipropylamin (ditn: H2N(CH2)3NH(CH2)3NH2) und Triäthylentetramin (trien: H2N(CH2)2NH(CH2)2NH(CH2)2NH2NH2) auf wasserfreies CrCl3 wurden die Komplexverbindungen [Cr dien2]J3, [Cr ditn2]J3 und cis-[Cr trien Cl2]Cl · H2O erhalten. Es werden die Darstellungsmethode und die Absorptionsspektren dieser Verbindungen angegeben.

    Description / Table of Contents: The reaction of molybdenum(III) salts with 1,3-diketones in aqueous solutions has been studied. Coordination compounds, [MoIII(diket) 3], with the diketones acetylacetone (Aca), benzoylacetone (BA), trifluoracetylacetone (AcaF3) and thenoyltrifluoracetone (TTA) have been prepared.Also the reaction with dibenzoylmethane and hexafluoracetylacetone was object of the investigation.
    Notes: Es wurde der Umsatz von Molybdän(III)-salzen mit 1,3-Diketonen im wäßrigen Medium untersucht.Dabei konnten Komplexverbindungen vom typ [MoIII(diket)3] mit folgenden 1,3-Diketonen erhalten werden : Acetylaceton (Aca), Trifluoracetylaceton (AcaF3), Benzoylaceton (BA) und Thenoyltrifluoraceton (TTA). Die Reaktion mit Dibenzoylmethan und Hexafluoracetylaceton war ebenfalls Gegenstand der Untersuchung.

    Description / Table of Contents: The thermal decomposition of TiCl3 · 6 NH3 in the temperature range -40 to 450°C has been studied. Between -40 and + 150°C the decomposition is reversible, between 150 and 450°C irreversible.The heats of reaction for the two reversible equilibria formulated in „Inhaltsübersicht“ have been determined by measuring the pressure of NH3. At temperatures 〉 170°C NH4Cl is irreversibly formed and finally titanium nitride.
    Notes: TiCl3 · 6 NH3 wurde im Bereich von -40 bis 450°C thermisch abgebaut. Im Temperaturintervall von -40 bis + 150°C verläuft der Abbau reversibel, im Intervall 150 bis 450°C erfolgt irreversible Zersetzung. Aus Dissoziationsdruckmessungen wurden die Reaktionsenthalpien für die reversiblen Gleichgewichte ermittelt.Ab etwa 170°C tritt irreversible NH4Cl-Abspaltung und schließlich Bildung von Titannitrid auf.
